Comic Series Branding

When it comes to comics, the story begins long before the first page. A comic’s logo and branding are the gateway to its world—they set the tone, spark curiosity, and give readers a taste of the adventure they’re about to embark on. For me, designing logos and crafting the branding for each of my comic series has been one of the most exciting parts of the creative process. It’s a chance to visually capture the heart of the story while building an identity that resonates with readers.

Each comic in my universe has its own unique personality, so its logo and branding had to follow suit. From bold, dynamic designs that scream action and energy to softer, more whimsical looks for lighthearted tales, I tailored each logo to fit the narrative perfectly. But it doesn’t stop at the logo—branding involves so much more. For each series, I also developed a cohesive color palette, logo variations, and a consistent design language that extends across promotional materials, covers, and merchandise. I wanted these series to feel different- while still feeling like they belong to the same world/ brand.

Beyond the visuals, the process of branding my comics has been a lesson in world-building through design. It’s about creating a cohesive experience that extends beyond the pages of the comic itself. From the cover design to the promotional posters and even teaser images, every element ties back to the central branding. The goal is to make each series instantly recognizable and to give readers a sense of the story’s tone before they even dive in.

Designing logos and branding for my comic series has been an incredibly rewarding process. It’s where storytelling and design intersect, and I get to bring my worlds to life in a way that’s visually engaging and memorable. For me, it’s not just about creating something that looks cool—it’s about building an identity that speaks to the heart of the story and invites readers to join the journey.
